Special Guest: Adia Lancaster
Adia Lancaster is an expert educator in the field of human trafficking, having spoken to a wide variety of audiences that range from school-age kids to professionals, politicians, and government agencies. Her creative and engaging presentations have inspired people to take action in the fight against human trafficking.
Adia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego in Human Development (now referred to as Human Developmental Sciences) and an Associates of Arts degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles, where she combines both passions to develop visually captivating, researched-based content to communicate to others the severity of the crime that is both understandable and life-changing.
Adia currently serves on the Southern Nevada Human Trafficking Task Force as chair of the Education committee. She was also recognized by former Attorney General of Nevada now Senator of Nevada, Catherine Cortez Masto, for her commitment and dedication to sex trafficking prevention.
Adia also serves as secretary for the sixth consecutive year on the Congressional Award Council of Nevada, which encourages Nevada youth to develop their initiative, and service by gaining a sense of achievement through Congress’ first and only award for youth.
